Safety

Upon arrival for safety:

  • Park

  • Call (705) 446-5450 to obtain direction on entry.

  • All dogs must be on leash prior to prior to exiting vehicles.

Vaccinations

All DOGS must be currently inoculated. Proof of vaccination is required.

  • We require current vaccinations for all of the following:

    • Rabies

    • DHPP/ Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza

    • Bordetella

  • Written proof (signed veterinary certificate or computer record/bill which includes vaccination and veterinary information) must be presented BEFORE admittance of any dog. To ensure optimal effectiveness, we recommend that all vaccinations be given a minimum of 10 days prior to boarding.

  • We do accept documentation of antibody titres showing protective levels in lieu of some vaccines. Titre testing (as an alternative to vaccination) is sometimes recommended for older dogs or those that are sensitive to being vaccinated. Please discuss these options with your veterinarian well in advance of your pet’s stay.

  • It is your responsibility to check your animals prior to arrival as we will check during our check in process, this will avoid a your reservation being cancelled. If your pet has fleas, he/she will be treated with a topical flea control product, the cost of which will be added to the boarding fee.

Grooming

Cancellations/no-shows

Cancellations or rescheduled appointments must be completed at least 48 hrs (5 days for Premium dates) in advance so that we can fill the vacancy. Customers are responsible for 100% of fees and services booked for missed appointments or cancellations is made within this window.

Late Arrivals

If you are more than 10 minutes late dropping off your pet, the appointment may need to be rescheduled to stay on time for the remaining clients of the day. Please contact us to let us know if you are running late in the event we cannot accommodate your pet.

Late Pick-ups

When you drop off your pet, you will be given an approximate pickup time ranging from 1.5 to 2 hours. A late pickup fee ($25 for up to 3 hrs; $39 for over 2 hrs) will be applied . Please respect pick up times to avoid unnecessary late fees.

Rates

  • Rates can change without notice.

  • Pricing is based on each individual pet as every pet is different. Prices are based on time, style of cut, condition of coat and the quality of work that goes into each appointment. HST is applied to ALL prices/quotes. Payment can be made using Interac, cash, visa, MC.

  • Pets that are not groomed every 6-8 weeks (which is a standard recommendation for dogs requiring regular grooming), may develop matts or tangles that might need to be shaved for safety and the comfort of your pet. Severely matted or pelted coats will be shaved. This is very uncomfortable for the pet, hard on the equipment and the groomer.

  • Extra fees will be applied (S10-$15 every 15 min for dematting/shaving the dog down). Tangles or mats that can be safely removed using specific tools will also be charged dematting fees.

  • Grooming is by appointment only.

Boarding & DayCare

  • Medication to be given at a specific time. $7.00 per administration.

  • Food $2.50 per pet, per feed if food is not supplied.

  • Eyes cleaned & drops administered $8.50.

  • Drop off and Pickup hours are by appointment only:

    • Full Day: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 9:00 am / 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Saturday 7:00am - 9:00 am. Sunday: 7:00am - 9:00 am / 4:00 pm - 6:00*

    • 1/2 Day: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 9:00 am /11:00 am - 12:00 pm.*

    • *Scheduled Drop off and pickup outside of set hours is additional $20.00 per hr.

    • An overnight is the drop off and pickup at the same time if day (ie: If animal is dropped off in the morning, pickup is the same time of day), otherwise additional daycare charges will apply.

  • Premium Charge for the following long weekends and holidays:

    • Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day

    • Minimum 2 night required.
